As a Fitness & Lifestyle Transformation coach, I get to work with some really amazing people from all over the world! And even though the details regarding every clients specific goal varies a bit, the ultimate goal and the underlying theme of FREEDOM comes up a lot.
How about you? How does some FREEDOM sound? Financial freedom, freedom to make your own schedule, freedom to really go after your big, audacious goals AND freedom to be yourself and do it your unique way all at the same time.
Sounds great, right!?
It IS!
But where do you start? I am glad you asked…
Here are 6 life coaching tips you’ve got to implement and get into your lifestyle ASAP if you want to REALLY squeeze the juice out of 2020 and beyond!
6 Life Coach Tips You MUST Implement in 2020
1. Own up to the energy you’re bringing to any and every situation
Your perception can either be your super power or your prison. I heard that quote once and it’s stuck with me ever since. It’s not everyone else’s fault that you’re grumpy, in a bad mood, frustrated, got a lot on your plate, etc. If you want people to treat you with respect, show up respectful. If you want to have a more positive, elevated vibe then bring the vibes, sista! You can’t let everyone and everything else be in charge of the perception of your outcome. The 3 words that represent how I want to show up to every interaction are: positive, present, barrier-breaker. What words represent how you want to show up in this world? Are you living them?
2. Regeneration & recovery is a MUST
Don’t wait for your body to break down or have a burn out to take that time for recovery and rejuvenation. Listen to your body’s unique whispers and cues telling you when it’s time to slow down before you get sick or have a burn out. I know sometimes we THINK we can “go, go, go” or we “can’t slow down”, but sooner or later you won’t have a choice. Make it a choice to slow down, take a break and give back to your body.
3. You have to slow down to tune in
Most people have no clue what their body is trying to tell them because they are going a million miles a minute and aren’t even listening…am I right? We get so caught up with to-do’s that have us running around doing everything and nothing. Slow down, ask your body what it needs, thank it for all it does for you daily and LISTEN when it’s time. When you can slow down, tune in and take action…you’ll be unstoppable!
4. It’s on you if you “don’t have enough time” #ownyourtime
We all have the same 24 hours in a day and there are a lot of people out there who are totally CRUSHING despite insanely demanding and even devastating circumstances. What are you doing to manage your time? How are you generating energy to make the most of your time? Are you saying “no” to the things that don’t serve you and your goals? How much time are you spending basically doing nothing following the next distraction? See where I am going with this. Set up some serious boundaries around the time set aside for making your dreams come true.
5. You don’t HAVE to react or respond to someone right away
Write that email or text but then wait until tomorrow to send it. I know you’ve gotten that email or message that really triggered you and then those thumbs and fingers start moving drafting out the greatest “comeback” that we send and then regret later. Slow down and wait to respond – you don’t owe anyone a speedy answer in many cases. This works for in person requests and conversations as well – it’s okay to tell someone that you need time to think.
6. A goal without a specific plan of action (in your calendar!) is useless. Period.
I don’t want you to have any “what if…” or “I wish I would have…” or “One day I might…” in your life. I want you to have clarity and a plan of action to get to where you’ve always dreamed. Let that goal grow legs and get to work!

Lunden!!! Great blog!
If I haven’t said it already thank you so much for sharing all your juicy blogs with us, we are loving them. I loved your tip on “you don’t have to react or respond right away.” This was one of the best pieces of advice I had ever received and has saved me over and over and over!
I always wait until a good night’s sleep, re-evaluate the next morning and 9 times out of 10 my entire thought process has evolved and I send something entirely different.
Thank you again for sharing this.

YES! There have been so many times in my passed when you’re like “oh crap I totally overreacted and that’s not what I meant” and then you cannot really take it back. I find it so powerful to really sit and think about how you want to respond. For sure one I think we all have to learn the hard way before we figure out that a faster response doesn’t mean it’s better.
