Green Adrenal Lemonade
Gluten-Free, Vegan, Serves 12
Ingredients:
- 4 ripe pears, peeled, diced
- 4 cups water
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup agave syrup
- Ice cubes for serving
- Lime slices for garnish
- Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
Directions:
Peel, core, and dice the pears. Juice the limes and lemons to obtain fresh lime and lemon juice. In a blender, combine the diced pears and water. Blend until smooth to create a pear puree. In a large pitcher, combine the pear puree, fresh lime juice, fresh lemon juice, and maple syrup or agave syrup. Stir well to combine and dissolve the sweetener. Taste the lemonade and adjust the sweetness or tartness to your preference by adding more agave syrup if needed. Refrigerate the pear adrenal lime lemonade for at least 1-2 hours to chill and allow the flavors to meld together. Fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour the chilled pear adrenal lime lemonade into the glasses. Garnish each glass with a slice of lime and a fresh mint leaf, if desired. Stir gently before serving.
