November 2024 Energy Update

Welcome to this space of the magazine. The one you connect with each month. The moon, the sun. Your spiritual being.

This is an invitation for you to set intentions and reflect throughout the month of November at key moments that punctuate the solar and lunar cycles – a form of soul nourishment.

SUN in Scorpio and Sagittarius October 23rd – November 21st:

Scorpio: connection to intuition, emotion, taboo and sex. Death and rebirth. Power and renewing.

A time to reflect on the principle of death and rebirth. The intention of facing your fears and knowing and stepping into your own power. Death to us means clarifying your values and being deeply aligned to your vision.

Scorpio is inviting you to embrace the playfulness and sexual part of yourself.

Scorpio is ruled by Pluto, which is all about taboo.

The shadow of Scorpio is about being defensive, secretive and vengeful. Take a journal and a pen.

• What is transforming right now, subtle or deeply?

November 22nd – December 21st:

Sagittarius: the explorer. The seeker. Always curious. Driven by big questions. Independent. Freedom.

A time to ask those questions of “why am I here”. It is about going on new quests. Always having great ideas. A period of higher learning and expanding the mind. Traveling and loving freedom. Go abroad!

Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, which is all about this optimism to begin again and expansion.

The shadow of Sagittarius is there is a risk of never being satisfied. Take a journal and a pen.

MOON with New Moon in Scorpio + Full Moon in Taurus

Create a ritual to connect with the moon. Let me share more about the moon phases and how to honor these.

New Moon: Set Intention. New Moon at 9° in Scorpio (Friday 1.11 at 7.47 AM CDT, 12.47 PM BST and 11.47 PM AEST).

In the darkness. Connect with the seeds to be planted.

Scorpio Sun + Scorpio Moon = Water + Water element connection.

Scorpio is a yin sign, it is fixed and aligns with the element of water. Scorpio is about the principle of death and rebirth. The intention of facing our fears and knowing and stepping into our own power.

The scorpion has this ability to really cause death. Death to us means clarifying our values and being deeply aligned to our vision. It is time to work on bringing your vision to life.

Scorpio is inviting us to seek out this vision, and for the meaningful impact, we want to have in the world and surrender to the steps forward. Take a journal and a pen.

JOURNAL PROMPTS:

• What is my vision for the meaningful impact I want to have?

First Quarter Moon: Aquarius. FQ Moon at 17° in Aquarius (Saturday 9.11 at 11.55 PM CST, 5.55 AM GMT, 4.55 PM AEDT).

This is the time to take action. The time to grow. In the first Quarter Moon, you take inspired action towards the plans you have created.

Scorpio Intention + Aquarius Moon = Water + Air element connection.

Aquarius is a yang sign, is fixed and connects with Air as an element. Air sign that is fixed and yang can be a beautiful combo.

It is all about journaling original ideas. It is all about being the questioner. Aquarius represents challenging ideas and making room for unorthodox ideas or opinions. It is all about channeling change. Take a journal and a pen.

Full Moon: Illuminate. Full Moon at 24° in Taurus (Friday 15.11 at 3.28 PM CST, 9.28 PM GMT and Saturday 16.11 at 8.28 AM AEDT).

Expression of the need to embody passion. Under the Full Moon, all is illuminated. The seeds and intentions planted in the November New Moon are revealed.

Scorpio Intention + Taurus Moon = Water + Earth element connection.

Taurus is a yin sign that embodies manifestation. As it is a fixed sign and an Earth sign it is all about feeling stable and grounded. Being productive by being in our body.

Creating using our hands, our soul and our minds. It is about the embodiment. It is a sign that brings in practicality. Everything is slow and steady. Connect to the abundance you have.

It is about the symbol of connection to the cyclical rhythm. Taurus is full of abundance! It is time to invite financial stability and manifestation in the material world.

Drop into your senses and physical presence. Connect with pleasure, beauty and nature. Take a journal and a pen.

Last Quarter Moon: Re-evaluate. Last Quarter Moon at 1° in Virgo (Friday 22.11 at 7.28 PM CST and Saturday 23.11 at 1.28 AM GMT and 12.28 PM AEDT).

The time to surrender.

Sagittarius Intention + Virgo Moon = Fire + Earth element connection.

Virgo is the yin. The being. It connects to the element of earth. Represents the energy of reverence and humility. The need to improve the world. It is an invitation to connect with ritual practices. Rituals to improve our whole wellbeing and sacredness.

Indeed, Virgo is ruled by Mercury, a messenger between the physical world and the sacred world.

In mythology, virgin means “whole and complete”. Virgo’s energy asks you to improve that sense. Prioritize your cyclical practices. Embody your sovereignty, wellness and joy. Take a journal and a pen.
