Empowering Women’s Health: Strengthening Mind, Body, and Habits with Visionary Tools – May is Women’s Health Awareness Month, a time dedicated to promoting and prioritizing the well-being of women. As we navigate the complexities of modern life, I find it beneficial and crucial to explore holistic approaches to health that go beyond the physical. In this article, I delve into the transformative power of Envision Books (or boards), demonstrating how this creative tool can enhance women’s mental resilience, physical vitality, and positive habits. It’s one of the workshops I lead at my own retreats, corporate events and at women’s events. As women over 50, let’s explore the powerful combination of mantras, affirmations and visualizing tools to inspire and guide you on your quest for a healthier, stronger, and even more confident body.
The Mind:
Creating an Envision book (or board) involves setting positive intentions for various aspects of your life based on the RESET LIFESTYLE QUIZ you take first. In 3-minutes, you will answer 50 archetypes that delve into five areas of your well-being: Health, Life, Creative, Relationships, and Soul. focusing on mental well-being. Include images and words that represent tranquility, balance, and emotional resilience. Affirmations like “I am [READY TO FEEL] worthy of mental peace” or “My mind is [READY TO BE] a source of strength” can set the tone. Adding the [READY] allows the mind to feel congruent with the intention statement.
Use the visual medium of a vision board to cultivate self-love. Select images that resonate with self-care, self-acceptance, and mental rejuvenation. I’ll show you how to pair with a mantra like “I am enough” which used with the system acts as a daily reminder to prioritize your mental health.
Incorporate images that symbolize mindfulness practices such as meditation, deep breathing, or yoga. This reinforces the importance of incorporating mindful habits into your daily routine for mental clarity and stress reduction.
The Body:
It’s important to release shame, blame, resentment and pain, all covered in the course, while Including images of nutritious foods, active lifestyles, and activities that bring joy. This serves as a tangible reminder of the importance of nurturing your body through healthy choices, one day at a time.
Visually representing specific fitness goals, such as running a marathon, becoming more active, taking online fitness classes supports your aspirations and can inspire consistent effort toward achieving them. Consistency is the key.
Integrate wellness-focused mantras into your vision board, such as “I am in tune with my body’s needs” or “Every healthy choice is a step toward vitality.” These affirmations reinforce the connection between your thoughts and the physical well-being of your body.
The Habits:
Rreinforce positive lifestyle choices along with empowering statements can turn a wish into an achievment. Include images that represent habits you want to cultivate, like drinking more water, getting enough sleep, or engaging in regular exercise. In the course, you’ll learn the simple 3-Step Method to shift and reinforce positive habits with visual cues that prompt mindful choices throughout the day.
For long-term goals, use your evision book, along with a Mindful Map to create a roadmap. Visualize the steps you need to take and celebrate milestones along the way. A Mindful Map is a blueprint or scheduler that transforms your goals into achievable, actionable steps.
