Five Forms of Wealth that Money Can’t Buy – Since when did money become the primary measure of abundance? A quick scroll on social media will reveal several influencers who can teach you how easy it is to make tons of money. Apparently, earning seven figures is so “last year.” Now, it’s eight figures! It’s this kind of hype that adds to the self-doubt and lack of self-worth that most of us already feel when we compare ourselves to others online.
As an energy healer for the past 15 years, I can tell you for certain that soul alignment is where it’s at if you want to consider yourself truly abundant. To be soul aligned means that you are maintaining a balanced life by living your truth, following your passions, upholding strong boundaries and making decisions from an empowered mindset. These characteristics are the basis for living according to your soul blueprint, which will help you attract all types of abundance, including money.
There are many forms of wealth that you can create for yourself, but if you are driven to the point of exhaustion in pursuit of a large bank account, you will only create an imbalance in your life that could leave you vulnerable and unhappy.
Here are my top five forms of wealth that you can start to develop for yourself right now to keep yourself balanced mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically:
1. Health: Good health is perhaps the most critical form of abundance. It includes physical fitness, mental clarity, and overall well-being. When we are healthy, we have the energy and vitality to pursue our goals and enjoy life fully. Poor lifestyle choices and stress are top barriers to optimum health and can lead to burnout and illness. To attract and maintain good health, make self-care a priority. Regular exercise, a balanced diet, adequate sleep, and mindfulness practices such as meditation can improve physical and mental well-being. Listening to your body and taking proactive steps to manage stress are also crucial.
2. Relationships: Strong, supportive relationships with family, friends, and partners enrich our lives with love, connection, and a sense of belonging. These relationships provide emotional support, companionship, and joy. Isolation, lack of trust, and past traumas can hinder our ability to form and maintain meaningful relationships. Building and maintaining strong relationships requires effort and vulnerability. Make time for the people you care about, communicate openly, and show appreciation. Learn to build trust and empathy for deeper, more meaningful connections.
3. Time: Time is a precious resource that, when managed well, allows us to pursue our passions, relax, and enjoy life. Having enough time means having the freedom to choose how we spend our days. But nowadays, we’re all so busy, to the point where we are exhausted with no downtime. Soon, months and then years went by. Time, once spent, is something you can never get back. To create more time, you must determine what is important in your life and then make it a priority. Cut back on commitments and schedule in the things that matter most (like health and relationships!)
4. Knowledge and Education: Knowledge and education empower us, opening doors to new opportunities and personal growth, as well as the ability to improve our earning power. Tap into your passions and interests and turn them into a new career! And going back to school isn’t the only way to gain knowledge; there are lots of online courses, books to read, and podcasts to listen to as well.
5. Nature and Environment: Connection to nature and a healthy environment provide tranquility, inspiration, and a sense of grounding. Natural beauty and clean surroundings enhance our mental and physical health. Make a conscious effort to spend time outdoors, whether it’s in a local park, forest, or beach. Activities like hiking, gardening, or simply taking a walk can help you reconnect with nature.
To truly be happy, your definition of abundance needs to expand beyond money. It’s recognizing and embracing all the riches of life that leads to balance, peace, and fulfillment.
