Hormone Balancing Overnight Berry Oats
Gluten-Free, Vegan, Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 1 cup gluten-free rolled oats
- 1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup mixed nuts, chopped
- 1/2 cup mixed berries, fresh or frozen
Directions:
In a mixing bowl or container, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Stir well to combine. Add the chopped mixed nuts and mixed berries to the oat mixture. Stir until evenly distributed. Cover the bowl or container with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate the mixture overnight, or for at least 4 hours, to allow the oats to absorb the liquid and soften. The next morning, give the overnight oats a good stir. If desired, add more almond milk to adjust the consistency. Divide the hormone-balancing overnight oats into individual serving bowls or jars. Top with additional mixed nuts and berries, if desired, for added flavor and texture.
