My Journey to Cancer-Free in 90 Days – In celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I share what I hope Inspires You!
The Diagnosis
January 19, 2021, at 43 years young, I received a Diagnosis: Rare, Aggressive, Invasive Stage 3 Grade 3B Triple Negative Breast Cancer, with several lymph nodes involved.
The Journey to Healing
I’d been preparing for this my whole life. I just didn’t know it.
Prior to the diagnosis, for many years, I had been studying health, wellness, nutrition, orthomolecular science, cancer, cancer causes, and cancer cures. I subscribed to Nature magazine and reviewed the actual scientific papers. I followed amazing thought leaders, physicians, Authors, etc., because it called to me, and I thrived on the information. I was called to it; now I know why.
The Protocol
Protect My Space and My Mindset—no exceptions. I decided on more than one direction. I would not rely solely on the Standard of Care; I would complement it with holistic healing, encompassing physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. I developed a plan based on my 20+ years of research, including nutrition, exercise, and stress management. Stress-free was a must.
- Immunotherapy & Chemo
- Saline IV drip after every Chemo/Immuno: 1000 mL
- Valtrex before and after every Chemo
- Weekly colonics
- Weekly acupuncture
- Weekly IV vitamin drips
- Daily vitamin supplements
- Juicing vegetables
- Wheatgrass enemas
- Vegetable & Fruit smoothies
- Limited alcohol consumption
- Exercising when I felt up to it, I honored what my body needed
- Taking a nausea pill before leaving the treatment center and then every seven hours for the two consecutive days following
- Regularly checking my B12 & vitamin D levels
- ION foot detox twice a week
- Clay baths twice a week
- Daily Consumption of Aloe vera water
- Digestive enzymes with meals
- One coconut water per day
- Drinking half my body weight in ounces of water, daily
- No more than two soft drinks a week
- Maintaining a positive attitude, choosing new uplifting thoughts when the negative tried to creep in.
- Dressing in crazy outfits on treatment days. Helping to keep me going and bringing smiles to others
- A 2-hour massage every other week
- Using Dignicap for every infusion to try to keep my hair, washing it only twice a week and avoiding brushing, styling, drying, or flat ironing
- Following the Daniel Fields step one and two protocol before putting on the Dignicap.
- Steam showers & Infrared Sauna
This comprehensive plan helped me navigate my journey with a blend of conventional, integrative & holistic approaches. Everyone is different. I make no claims, I only share what aided me in my healing to help others. In In May, I made 3 years Cancer FREE! I have no neuropathy. No heart Issues have manifested. I have no acute respiratory distress syndrome or lung failure. I have no tingling, numbness, pain, or loss of balance. I have no hearing loss. I have no Thyroid issues. Actually, the last 2 separate doctors at 2 separate times said, my “thyroid is beautiful”. During treatment, I had No ulcers or Fever Blisters. I lost a lot of hair, but I did not lose all my hair, and I had no bald spots. In addition, my hair grew back very fast.
Cancer Free in 90 Days
Called an “Outlier” by my medical team. I received my No Evidence of Disease “NED” 90 days later per MRI, followed by further confirmation when the Oncologists could not find any trace of disease! Here is the thing. I am not an outlier. I believe with all my fiber, there are so many more of us to come! You got this!
Offering Support and Guidance
Throughout my journey, I’ve learned the importance of holistic support alongside traditional treatments. For those navigating their own cancer path or supporting a loved one, consider these integrative practices to complement medical care:
1. Nutrient-Rich Diet: Focus on whole foods that are rich in vitamins and minerals to support your body’s healing process.
2. Mind-Body Connection: Incorporate mindfulness practices like meditation or yoga to reduce stress and promote emotional well-being.
3. Gentle Exercise: Engage in light physical activities as your energy allows, which can improve overall health and mood.
4. Hydration: The saline Drips (mentioned above) after infusions are crucial. In addition, Keep hydrated with plenty of water, herbal teas, and nutrient-dense fluids like vegetable juices and coconut water.
5. Community Support: Connect with others who understand your journey, whether through support groups or social media communities.
Remember, every journey is unique. Always consult with your healthcare provider before making any changes to your regimen. Ask, “Can this hurt me if I do it?” I had an understanding with my Oncologist. I would ask about something; she may take a few days to research and get back. Then she would tell me, Negative, Positive, or Neutral. That aided in my decision-making.
